Funeral service for Bonnie Dean Gattis, age 79 of Manchester formerly of Fayetteville, will be conducted Thursday at 11 AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Waggoner officiating. Burial will follow in Mulberry Cemetery beside her husband James Gattis. Mrs. Gattis passed away Tuesday morning in Manchester Health Care Center.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Bessie Groce Cannon, was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include a daughter Patricia (Richard) Painter of Tullahoma, son Lester (Betty) Gattis of Manchester and grandchildren Chris Painter, Tracy McCart, Angela Penn and Tabitha Gattis, great grandchildren Christa, Buddy and Mason Painter, Katie, Tori, and Makayla McCart and Harley Penn.
Mrs. Gattis was preceded in death by granddaughter Sabrina Gattis.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening 5-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
