Funeral services for Bobby Franklin Hopkins, age 81, of Kirkland will be conducted Saturday at 2PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Don Russell and Bro. Tommy Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Cemetery. Mr. Hopkins passed away Thursday in Huntsville Hospital.

He was a native of Lincoln County, son of the late Ernie F. and Phamie McMillan Hopkins. Mr. Hopkins retired from Flour Daniel Construction Company as area superintendent after 28 years, was currently working as inspector with the Lincoln County Water Department and was a member of the Park City Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife Emogene Sisco Hopkins of Kirkland, son Ricky Hopkins and wife Debbie of Kirkland, grandchildren Candy Arnold and Brandi Harwell both of Fayetteville, great grandchildren Tyler Arnold, Zach Harwell, Neyland Harwell and Eli Arnold.

Visitation with the family will be Friday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
