Funeral services for Mr. Billy G Parker, age 82, of Frankewing will be conducted Saturday at 2PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Marty Franklin officiating.  Burial will follow in Wright’s Cemetery.  Mr. Parker passed away Thursday afternoon June 3rd   in Lincoln Care Center.

He was a native of Giles County and the son of the late Gill and Louise Owens Parker.  Mr. Parker was a veteran of the US Navy and Air Force, a farmer and a member of the McBurg Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife Julia Harwell Parker of Frankewing, two sons Mike and Jeff Parker both of Frankewing, grandchildren Heather Sullivan, Holly Parker, Curtis Parker and Crystal Parker all of Frankewing and Anita Forbes of Pulaski, five great-grandchildren and one sister Gene Clark of Fayetteville.  He was preceded in death by a son Doyle Parker.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 10am-2PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
