Obituary

It is with regret that we announce the passing of Mrs. Betty June Robinson Coble, age 87, of Taft, TN. A private family service will take place at a later date. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Coble.

Betty was born on August 16, 1932 in Lincoln County, TN to the late Melvin and Ruth Campbell Robinson. She worked as a property appraiser in Brevard County, FL and attended Prosperity Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Coble loved to dance and bowl when she lived in Florida. She enjoyed reading and playing cards with her family and friends. Later in life, Betty missed working outside in her yard and mowing with her zero-turn mower. There was always laughter when she was spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Coble passed away on December 13, 2019 at her residence.

Betty was a beloved Daughter, Wife, Mother and Grandmother. Survivors include her daughters, Cynthia (Tony) Williams and Yvette (Michael) McRaney; sister, Ida Florence West; grandchildren, Brian (Elizabeth) Williams, Jamie Williams (Dennis) Edmonds, DJ Tanner (Bradley) Thompson, Becca Tanner, Reed (Tameria) Tanner and (Melissa Bowman (Shaun) Gentry; great-grandchildren, Konnor, Davis, Collin, Jude, James Cash, Baylee, Brayden, Alexia, Dalton, and Ella; and several grand-dogs. Ida Florence I am so sorry to read about the death of your sister. I remember Mr & Mrs Robinson so fondly. I can still recall a lot of fun we had when we lived in the same house. I miss seeing you all and your family will be in my Prayers. Love to all of you Joyce.
