A funeral service for Mrs. Betty Jean Dunivan, age 91, of Fayetteville, TN will be held at 3 pm on September 20, 2021, at Higgins Funeral Home with Gerald Todd and Janice Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be September 20, 2021, from 2 pm to 3 pm at Higgins.

Betty was born September 17, 1929, in the Red Oak community of Lincoln County, TN to the late John Ray and Eva Lee Griffis Smith. She owned and operated The Swap and Shop for 33 years. Betty was a member of West Fayetteville Church of Christ. She passed away September 16, 2021.

Survivors include her caregiver, Janice Lee; special friends, Eddie, Karen and James Stephens, Gladys Bogle; and many friends and extended family. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Blair Dunivan.
