Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Jane Quick, age 72, of Fayetteville, will be conducted at 11 AM Friday at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Terrell Bain officiating.  Burial will follow in Lincoln Cemetery.  Mrs. Quick passed away Tuesday evening at her residence.

A daughter of the late Joe and Mildred Eliff McLaughlin, she was a native of Madison County, AL, retired from Flintville Junior High, where she was a cook, and a member of Lincoln Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include sons Joseph Reese Quick of Fayetteville and Jimmy Dean Quick of Petersburg, daughters Mary Jane Thompson of Flintville, Sara Ann Hamlin of Kelso, Carolyn Denise Thomas of Petersburg, Sheila Kay Shockley of Hazel Green, AL, Vickie Jett of Lewisburg, and Kathy Deloris Jean of Kelso, 15 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, brothers Arie McLaughlin of AR, Zeke McLaughlin of AR, and Charlie McLaughlin, and sister Ruby South of AR.

Visitation with the family will be from 5-8 PM Thursday evening at Higgins Funeral Home.
