It is with regret we announce the passing of Ms. Bettie Ann Tucker, age 78, of Fayetteville, TN. Bettie was born on June 15, 1941 to the late Mercel and Ida Ruth Bailey, in Madison County, AL. She passed away on May 20, 2020, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Bettie retired from Chrysler Motor Company as a lead assembly manager. She loved watching her son race, working in her yard, being active and outgoing. Bettie was of the Baptist faith.

Bettie is survived by her sons, Wayne (Patsy Bailey) Tucker and Gary (Shawn) Tucker, both of Fayetteville; sister, Peggy Goolsby of Fayetteville; brother, Jerry Bailey of Georgia; and granchild, Garrett Pfeifer.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic there will be no public gathering at this time. A private family service will be held at Charity Cemetery, with Bro. Ronnie Thomas and Bro. Tommy Graham officiating. The family invites you to share memories at higginsfh.com.
