Funeral service for Mrs. Barbara Ann Roland, age 79, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted at 3 PM on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Higgins Funeral Home with Dr. Jon Hathcock officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Roland was born on February 14, 1939 in Lincoln County, TN to the late Fred Luna and Elaine Elder McLin. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and retired after 34 years of working for the Fayetteville City Schools. Mrs. Roland enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending time with her loving family. She passed away on March 24, 2018 at Donalson Care Center.
Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Roland; children, Cheryl Roland of Petersburg, Jimmy (Bella) Thompson of Fayetteville, Lee (Laura) Roland of Fayetteville, and Christie (Michael) Brown of Pulaski; twelve grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be from 5 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Higgins Funeral Home. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Barbara Ann Roland.
