Funeral services for Avis Luttrell age 87 of Fayetteville will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Winfred Stayton officiating. Burial will follow in Gum Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Luttrell passed away Tuesday night at her residence.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Idella George Marrs. Mrs. Luttrell was a former seamstress with Serbin Fashions and a member of the Gum Springs Church.
Survivors include daughter Linda Winfield, sons Tommy and Melvin Luttrell, grandchildren Amber Winfield, Chris Hill, Andrea Luttrell Binkley and James Luttrell, great-grandchildren Christopher Hill, Austin George, sister Mary Ruth May, brothers Jimmy and Junior Marrs.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening 5-8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
