Funeral services for Austin Oral Eslick, age 82 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Black officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens beside his wife Margaret Jean Tipps Eslick who passed away in 2008. Mr. Eslick passed away Monday at his residence.
A naïve of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late James and Lemma Smart Eslick. He was a member of the National Guard, retired from Genesco after 40 years and was a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons Terry (Debra) Eslick of Fayetteville and Dwight (Margaret) Eslick of Fayetteville, grandchildren Derrick Eslick, Bobby Neal (Amy) Eslick and their children Walker and Katie Eslick, Daniel Scott (Jamie) Eslick and their children Jack and Wyatt Eslick and Sarah Beth (Joe) Winsett and their children Craig, Bella and Dayton Winsett. In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr. Eslick was preceded in death by three brothers Thomas Arnold Eslick, J. L. Eslick and Everett Young Eslick.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 11am-1pm at Higgins Funeral Home.
