We have so many good memories of spending days on the houseboat, too many to tell! She was like a second mother to me.
So sorry to hear of her passing. Prayers to the family for peace and comfort. Mrs. Hammons worked for home health years ago. My grandfather was one of her patients. we sometimes had a hard time with him you let Mrs. Hammons walk in and it was a different story. I do believe if she told him to stand on his head he would. She certainly had a way with people. I will ever be grateful that she came into our lives .
Miss Arvelene was a precious lady. During one of my most difficult times she appeared at our door with food and a hug. Her gentle manner belied a person of strength and faith. Our prayers are with her family.
I cannot express how much this precious lady will be missed by her church family, and us personally! She was truly one of the sweetest people we have ever known, always had a smile and a attitude of love, both for her Lord, her family, and her church family, and who can forget her delicious donuts! She’s now been reunited with her beloved L.C., and her other loved ones, and she’s now happy praising her Lord! God bless the family during this difficult time! Prayers!
