Dear sweet Granny Annie as my grandkids called her… Her and my mother in law Mardell McBay were best of friends, thick as thieves, two peas in a pod during their “roommate” time at LC… As we would leave from our Saturday afternoon visit Dennis always would turn at the door and say “now you two young ladies behave yourselves” and Ms. Annie would grin and say, now I don’t know about that, it’s Saturday night and we just might go dancing!… I know they are holding hands, dancing the streets of Heaven, forever friends! Sorry for you loss, she was a Godsend to our mother in her final years…
