Funeral services for Annie Mae Edde McWhirter, age 90, of Mulberry will be conducted Thursday at 1:00pm at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Kirk Smith and Jason Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Champ Cemetery beside her husband Mack Alvin McWhirter. Mrs. McWhirter passed away Tuesday morning in Donalson Care Center.

She was a native of Moore County, daughter of the late Uriel William Mitchell and Annie Laura Rudd Edde and step-daughter of Laura Mae Bryant Edde. She retired from S & M Manufacturing after forty years of service and was a member of the Champ Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a daughter Hilda Anderson and husband Andy of Mulberry, three grandsons

Lee Gault and wife Tina of Kelso, TN, Alan Gault and wife Carla of Flintville, TN and Jason Anderson of Hoover, AL, grandchildren Justin, Boone, Alex and Makinsie Gault and two step-granddaughters, Jessica and Sevannah Reid, one sister Jean Lee of Belfast, TN and two brothers Uriel Edde of Rutledge, TN and Carl Edde of Tullahoma, TN. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by daughter Peggy Gault Woodis, brothers Forest, Estil, Fred, Boone, Ray, John, G. W. and Bill Edde and sisters Orea Pitcock and Rooney Belle King.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
