Funeral service for Mrs. Annie Jean Mitchell Stubblefield age 84, of Fayetteville will be conducted Thursday at 1 PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Clark and Rev. Elizabeth Ferguson officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery beside her husband Joe Stubblefield. Mrs. Stubblefield passed away Wednesday at Donaldson Care Center.

Mrs. Stubblefield was the daughter of the late Homer and Emma Thompson Mitchell, a native of Lincoln County, a retired nurse, and member of the Fayetteville Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include a daughter Patsy Bauer of Huntland, son Richard Stubblefield of Denver Co., four grandchildren Rick Stubblefield, Bill Stubblefield, Monte Higgs and Tori Gentry, two great- grandchildren Landon Stubblefield and Cadence Stubblefield.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday from noon until time of service at 1 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Fayetteville Lincoln Co. Humane Society.
