Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Anne Elizabeth Craig Widner, age 79 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Tuesday at 10 AM at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Bro. David Sain and Rev. Tommy Ward officiating. Mrs. Widner passed away Saturday afternoon at her residence. A native of Davidson County she was the daughter of the late William Andrew and Stella Ferguson Craig. She was a graduate of West End High School, a homemaker and a member of the West Fayetteville Church of Christ. Survivors include daughter Deborah Widner Woodward of Fayetteville, two sons Joseph Craig (Cyndi) Widner of Loretto, TN and Thomas Christopher Widner of Huntsville, AL, four grandchildren Corey (Amanda) Woodward of Knoxville, Mary Beth (Casey) Jenkins of Fayetteville, Christie Widner of Memphis and Elijah Widner. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Clarence Widner, daughter Dianna Gayle Widner and son-in-law Robert Woodward. Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to First United Methodist Church of Fayetteville or to West Fayetteville Church of Christ.
