Graveside services for Anna May Godfrey McMeen, age 83 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Tuesday at 10 AM at Lincoln Cemetery beside her husband Charles McMeen with Bro Jeff Young officiating. Mrs. McMeen passed away Sunday in Lincoln Medical Center.

A native of Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. McMeen was the daughter of the late James Richard and Ella May Sanders Godfrey Sr. She was an inspector for SCI for 10 years and a member of the Highland Rim Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter Barbara McMeen of Fayetteville, three sons Charles and Becky McMeen Jr of Fayetteville, Williams Wesley McMeen of Fayetteville and Jimmy R. McMeen of Fayetteville, grandchildren Gwendolyn Michelle McMeen, Sonya Rene Wright, James Richard Wright, Kelly McMeen, Bryan McMeen, Chris McMeen, great-grandchildren Talan McMeen, Livey Grace Wright, Wesley McMeen, Will McMeen, Ella McMeen, and Travis McMeen.

There will be no visitation at the funeral home prior to services.

Higgins Funeral Home is assisting the family of Anna May Godfrey McMeen.
