Memorial service for Mrs. Angela Johnson, age 44, of Fayetteville, will be conducted Tuesday evening at 6:30 pm at Prospect Baptist Church with Bro. Ronnie Gay officiating. Burial will be Wednesday morning at 10:30 am in Prospect Cemetery. She passed away Friday evening at Crestwood Medical Center.
Mrs. Johnson was a native of Huntsville, AL, the daughter of Frank and Connie Spurlock, who survive. She was a secretary and a member of Prospect Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Jamie Johnson of Fayetteville, daughter Megan Newgent and husband Troy Lee, son Joshua Johnson, grandchildren Trace and Brinlee Newgent all of Fayetteville, brother Frankie Spurlock, Jr. of Florida, grandparents Ben and Wanda Dunbar of West Palm Beach, FL, and uncle Ed Downing of St. Augustine, FL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Prospect Baptist Church Youth fund or Children’s fund.

Since I heard about Angie’s death, I haven’t been able to get you and your family out of my thoughts. It just seems like the other day we were all catching up at the reunion. I just cannot imagine what you are going through. I will continue to pray for strength and comfort for your family through this time.

I am so very lucky to have called her my mother in law. She had a heart of gold and lived for her family she was the most unselfish person full of life and beautiful smile. A wonderful wife, mother, and Nonni. We all love and miss you so so very much what a true blessing it was to be part of your family.
