It is with regret that announce the passing of Amy Carol Pirtle Anderson of Shelbyville, formerly of Fayetteville. There are no public services planned at this time.
Amy was born on September 28, 1970 in Lincoln County, to the late George W. and Geraldine Locker Pirtle. She passed away on January 12, 2021 in Lincoln County, TN.
Survivors include her children, James Anthony “Tony” Anderson, Jr. and Keila Anderson; grandchildren, Sir, Mia, and C.J. Anderson; sister, Flossie Pirtle Redic; and brother, Charles Pirtle.

I am so sorry to read of Amy’s passing. I rode the school bus with her for a couple years. She was so pretty and always so sweet. God bless you all!
It was so sad to hear of the loss of Amy. She was a student of mine at Highland Rim along with her children Tony and Keila in later years.. I recall Flossie and Charles as well. Love and prayers go to all your family.
This is so sad she went to our church when she was a kid
God be with you over your loss. I was Amy’s fourth grade teacher. She was a sweet and precious child to work with. I will have Amy’s family in my prayers.

So sorry to hear about Amy’s passing. She will be missed by all of us who knew her. My sister Melanie (Thomas) Lyell just saw her a few short days ago. I remember the good times we all had back as children when we all rode Mr. Fred Smith’s school bus. You , the Family Flossie, and Charles are all in my Thoughts and Prayers.
