Funeral service for Mr. Harold James Means, age 80, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted at 11 AM on Monday, September 3, 2018, at Prospect Baptist Church with Dr. Ronnie Gay officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery.
Mr. Means was born on January 24, 1938 in Livingston, TN to the late Curtis and Ruth Norris Means. He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years during the Vietnam War era. He was a member of Prospect Baptist Church. Mr. Means passed away on August 30, 2018 at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Means; son, Tracy Means; daughter, Candy Means (Chris) Patterson; grandsons, Ryan (LaCarrie) Means, Curt Means (Michelle), Zachary (Janna) Means, Kyle East, Jacob Patterson, and Cody Patterson; godson, Cody Swing; nine great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Chi-Chi. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and Gerald Means.
Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, September 2, 2018, at 4 PM until 8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home. Higgins is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Means.
