Obituary

Funeral Service for Mrs. Sybil Louise Campbell Baker, age 77 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 1PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Graves officiating. Burial to follow in Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Baker was born on May 23, 1943 to the late Gordon L. and Mary Louise Gregg Campbell in New Market, AL. A retired Civil Servant for the Army, she served as an editorial assistant for the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command at Redstone Arsenal. Sybil was an avid UT football fan, who always cheered for her Vols. She loved her horses and enjoyed the farm life, but the thing she loved most, was spoiling her grand kids. Sybil was of the Methodist faith.

Sybil is survived by her husband of fifty five years, Frank Earl Baker of Fayetteville; her daughters, Shelley (Kevin) Feemster of Tullahoma, TN and Tracy (Fred) Roberson of Meridianville, AL; son, Jason (Christian) Baker of Fayetteville, TN; grandchildren, Lindsey Wilkins, Tara (Nick) Oliver, Danielle Stevenson, and Roberto Baker; great-grandchildren, Matthew Oliver, Elouise Wilkins, Shaun James, and Sidney Baker; brother, Edward (Vera) Campbell; and her faithful dog, Rusty. In addition to her parents, Sybil was preceded in death by her sister, Sue Williams.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 4PM to 7PM at Higgins Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Avalon Hospice 1802 North Jackson Street, Suite 900, Tullahoma, TN 37388 or Alzheimers Association 309 North Jackson Street, Suite 1, Tullahoma, TN 37388.

Higgins Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Sybil Louise Campbell Baker.
