Funeral services for Mr. Shirley Joe Groce, age 65, of Fayetteville will be conducted Saturday at 11AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Cantrell and Jason Weddington officiating.  Burial will follow in Booneville Cemetery.  Mr. Groce passed away Thursday morning at Lincoln Medical Center.

He was a native of Lincoln County and the son of the late J.T. and Pauline Allen Groce.  Mr. Groce was a retired machinist with the American Can Company and was a member of the Booneville Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife Frances Christine Prince Groce of Fayetteville, children Larry Glen Groce and wife Missy, Christy Jo Brown and husband Steve and Kimberly Ann Bennett and husband Dwayne all of Fayetteville, grandchildren Josh Brown and wife Kristina. Jeremy Brown, Ambria Brown, JoAnna Bennett, Rebecca Bennett, Robin Bennett, Heather Groce and Sam Shields, two aunts Robbie Sims and Marie Corder, several friends and neighbors.

Visitation with the family will be Friday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
