Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Roberts Thompson Williams, age 94, of Fayetteville will be conducted Wednesday morning at 11AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Rogers and Bro. Tom Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Stewarts Cemetery beside her late husband Al Roberts. Mrs. Williams passed away Tuesday morning in Donalson Care Center.

She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late George and Onia Faris Thompson. Mrs. Williams was a volunteer grandmother at Highland Rim School, member of the Liberty Church of Christ and a long time member of the American Legion and VFW Auxillary.

Survivors include nieces Betty Abernathy and Susan Meeks both of Fayetteville, nephew C. G. Thompson and wife Paulette of Fayetteville and Rodney Thompson of Huntsville, grandson Wayne Mason of Fayetteville , son-in-law Bill Marshall and several great nieces and nephews.. For the past 30 years she has had the love and care of her neighbors Jimmy Renegar and family across the street. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by a daughter Joan Marshall.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 9AM-11AM at Higgins Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
