Funeral services for Rebecca “Becky” Cashion Gleghorn, age 69, of Petersburg will be conducted Sunday at 2PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Ellis Coats and Bro. Brian Stone officiating.  Burial will follow in Old Orchard Cemetery beside her husband Phillip Morris Gleghorn.  Mrs. Gleghorn passed away Friday morning at her residence.

She was the daughter of the late Charles Allen and Lillie Mae Porter Cashion.  Mrs. Gleghorn was a retired cook at Unity School, a member of the Friendship Church of Christ and was known as the “Cake Lady” for all the many cakes she baked for family and friends.

Survivors include two daughters Anita Carol Tanner and husband Kevin of Taft and Patricia Faye Gleghorn of Petersburg, four sons Terry Gleghorn and wife Christy of Petersburg, Dale Gleghorn of Petersburg, Kelvin Gleghorn and wife Sherry of Lewisburg and Melvin Gleghorn and wife Camille of Petersburg, two sisters Barbara Whitsett of Lewisburg and Celia Cashion of Lewisburg, one brother David Cashion of Belfast, eleven grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by two brothers Thomas Allen and James Franklin Cashion.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
