Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline Williams Harris, age 88, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 1:00PM Thursday at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Ramey officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Cemetery beside her husband Richard “Jay” Harris. Mrs. Harris passed away Monday night April 13th at Donalson Care Center.
She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Thomas Coleman and Josephine Mires Williams. Mrs. Harris was a homemaker and a member of the Wells Hill Church of Christ. She loved working in her yard and garden and was well known for her wonderful cooking and quilting.
Survivors include four daughters, Janice Gault of Fayetteville, Jospehine “Jo” Bolander and husband Philip of Petersburg, Karen Fulcher of Petersburg and Sharon Tate and husband Fred of Booneville, sister Betty Gordon of Calahan, Florida, two brothers B. W. and Carl Williams both of Huntsville, AL, grandchildren, Tammy (Keith) Couch, Carla (Darren) May, Wendi (Cameron) Westmoreland, David Bartlett, Chris(Kristy) Gault, Jamie (Dianne) Powell, Timmie Powell and great grandchildren Heather Hamilton, Emily(Skylar) Evans, Brittany Couch, Jordan Powell and great great grandchildren Lila Evans, Samantha and Sabrina Bartlett. She was preceded in death by a daughter Phyllis Powell Mills, husband Richard “Jay” Harris, parents Thomas Coleman and Josephine Mires Williams and grandchild Todd Bolander
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
