Obituary

Funeral service for Paul Ray Mann, age 80, of Flintville, TN, will be held at 1 PM Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Jeremy Ogle and Bro. Milton Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until 1 PM Saturday at the church.

Ray was born on July 1, 1945, in Lincoln County, TN to the late Clayton Mann and Birdie Pauline Speck Mann. He was a row crop farmer and a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Mann enjoyed working outdoors but most of all he loved being a Papa to his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ray passed away on August 21, 2025, at HH Lincoln Health.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Mann; sons, Scotty (Nickie) Mann, Shawn Mann, and Stanley (Kim) Mann; grandchildren, Aiden (Faith) Simpson, Lilly Foster, Sloan Mann, Sage Mann, Satchel Mann, Kelsey Mann, Easton Mann, Tatumn Mann, Reagan (Tucker) Webb, McKinley Mann, and Addyson Mann; seven great-grandchildren; and his sister, Helen Clark. In addition to his parents, Ray was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Mann; and his sister, Jean Ward.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial Processing, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
