Funeral service for Judy Griffith Fowler, age 79, of Fayetteville, TN, will be held at 2 PM on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Coldwater Community Church, with Rev. Alan Shedd and Rev. Jim Curry officiating. Burial will follow in the Carter Hills Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 12 PM until 2 PM on Friday at the Church (618 Old Railroad Bed Road, Fayetteville, Tennessee 37334).
Judy was born on October 26, 1944, in Lincoln County, TN, to the late Phillip Griffith and Kathryn Frances Widner Griffith. She was a graduate of Clarke County High School in Berryville, VA and attended Business School. She worked as the District Secretary for Kroger/Super X Drug Stores. She was a devout Christian and Sunday school teacher at Coldwater Community Church. Judy enjoyed cooking, canning, needle work, and researching her family genealogy. Mrs. Fowler passed away on April 6, 2024, at Hospice Family Care, in Huntsville, AL.
Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Fowler of Fayetteville; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, James A. “Bo” Fowler; and brother, Phillip Douglas Griffith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Coldwater Community Church, 618 Old Railroad Bed Road, Fayetteville, Tennessee 37334.

Mrs. Judy was one of the nicest ladies I have known. Her smile could light up a room. She loved her family and the Lord unconditionally. Prayers for strength and comfort for her daughter, Kathy, and the family. Mrs. Judy will be greatly missed .

I am so very sorry to read of the passing of Mrs. Judy. She was a wonderful person and I know she will be missed greatly. She and Mr. Jimmy were some of the nicest people ever. I loved them both!
