Joanie Elaine Daniel, age 69, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2026, with her loving husband by her side. She was born on January 2, 1957, in Madison County, Alabama.

Joanie was a 1975 graduate of Lee High School and proudly served her country as a veteran of the United States Navy. In the years that followed, she worked various jobs in healthcare and retail, always bringing kindness and compassion to those around her.

Happy by nature and known for her gentle spirit, Joanie found joy in the simple things she loved. She enjoyed collecting Barbies, especially the Holiday Barbie series, and loved all things Hello Kitty, a reflection of her playful heart and youthful joy. Joanie met and married the love of her life, Don Daniel, and she was happiest simply spending time by his side. Loving and caring, she consistently placed the needs and well-being of others above her own.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 25 years, Donald Daniel; and her siblings, Glenda, Wanda, Tim, Steve, Anthony, and Michael.
