Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Kathleen Scott, age 85, of Howell will be conducted at 10 AM Saturday at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Van Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Old Orchard Cemetery. Mrs. Scott passed away Monday afternoon at Lincoln Skill Care.

A daughter of the late Virgil Andrew and Laura Estella Armstrong Scott, she was a native of Lincoln County, retired from Howell School, and a member of U.S. Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include nieces and nephews Deborah Scott Hardin, David Frank Scott, Linda Frances Scott Murdock, Hugh Crabtree, Earl Crabtree, Martha Jo Hemphill, Ann Hornaday, Elizabeth Hale, and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters Frank Andrew Scott, Charles Benton Scott, Norma Margaret Scott, Hilda Doris Scott, and Ouida Scott Crabtree.

Visitation with the family will be from 9-10 AM Saturday at Higgins Funeral Home.
