Funeral services for Mr. Gary Ray Wimberly, age 60, of Camp Hill, Alabama will conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 P M at Higgins Funeral Home with Brother Michael Wimberly officiating.  Burial will follow in Stewart’s Cemetery beside his wife Brenda McElroy Wimberly. Mr. Wimberly passed away Friday in Opelika, AL. A native of Lincoln County, TN, Mr. Wimberly was the son of the late Coleman and Jewel Flynt Wimberly, a veteran of the U. S. Army, and a butcher for Winn Dixie Grocery Company.  He is survived by a son James R. Wimberly of Opelika, AL, sister Brenda Preston of Fayetteville, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a sister Cherry Wimberly Arnold.Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 12PM until 2PM at Higgins Funeral Home.Memorials may be made to the St. Jude’s Hospital.Children Hospital Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or your favorite charity.
