Graveside services for Mr. Frankie D. Reed, age 77, of Fayetteville will be conducted Thursday at 2PM at Riverview Memorial Gardens with Bro. Jim Black officiating. Burial will be beside his wife Janice Groce Reed who passed away in March 2010. Mr. Reed passed away Monday in Fayetteville Care and Rehabilitation Center.

He was a native of Lincoln County and the son of the late Clarence and Carmen Bradford Reed. Mr. Reed was a member of the Tennessee National Guard, owner and operator of Reed Furniture and a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include two daughters Roxanne Moyers and husband Mike of Fayetteville, Valerie Graham and husband Joe Ed of Lewisburg, two sons, Jeff Reed and wife Lisa of San Antonio, TX, and Scott Reed and wife Nasaria of Houston, TX, one sister Dot West of Fayetteville, ten grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Mr. Reed was preceded in death by a son John David Reed.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 12PM-2PM at Higgins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, Washington Street Church of Christ Building Fund or Fayetteville Care and Rehabilitation, 4081 Thornton Taylor Parkway, Fayetteville, TN. 37334.
