Funeral services for Mrs. Evelyn Elsa Ross, age 79, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 11 AM Wednesday at Prospect Baptist Church with Dr. Ronnie Gay officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery. Mrs. Ross passed away Saturday morning at her residence.

A daughter of the late Franz Heinrich Max and Elsa Klautsch Sabin, she was a native of Berlin, Germany, a homemaker, and a member of Prospect Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Arthur Glenn  Ross of Fayetteville, daughter Beatrice Spray of Ringgold, GA, son Bruce Ross and wife Gretchen of Virginia Beach, VA, grandchildren Angie Goad and husband Richard of Norfolk, VA, Adrian Hennessee and husband Ammon of Honolulu, HI, and Kristen Burnside and husband Cody of Virginia Beach, VA,and great-grandchildren Tyler Hennessee, Branden Goad, Courtney Hennessee, Jocelyn Burnside, Carson Goad, Dylan Goad, and Charlotte Burnside.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Prospect Baptist Church Building Fund, Clearview Cancer Institute in Huntsville, AL,  Lincoln County Home Health and Hospice or the charity of your choice.

Visitation with the family will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday evening at Higgins Funeral Home.
