Obituary

David Arthur Edwards, beloved husband, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home in Fayetteville, TN, on July 21, 2025, at the age of 72. He was born on March 16, 1953, at Narsarssuak Air Base in Greenland.

David made Tennessee his home in the late 1980s and began working with Consolidated Construction. He later found a long-term role with Franke, where he dedicated over 20 years of service. Known for his gentle nature and warm personality, David never met a stranger. He had a deep love for animals, a passion for photography, and a curious mind that found joy in understanding how things worked.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Angelina Stiles Edwards; his sister, Lorraine (Bill) Hendley; several nieces and nephews; and his cherished dog, Minnie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Brenda Humphries Edwards.

Higgins Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of David Arthur Edwards.

How odd it is that I was just thinking about David and wondering how he was doing. He was a good man. Always loved working with him. He was very intelligent and did his work with precision. So sorry to hear about his passing. Prayers for his family.
