Clyde Edward Thompson, 83, of Madison, TN passed away April 7, 2013.
He was born in Old Hickory, TN on August 30, 1929 to the late Charles M. and Louise Walker Thompson. He married the late Wanda Hicklen Thompson from Fayetteville, TN, in 1972 and they lived in Madison until her death on November 17, 2012.

Clyde retired from Ford Glass Plant, Nashville, where his love for country music, playing guitar and performing at small venues earned him the nicknames “Cowboy” and “el Clyde-o” from his co-workers at Ford.

Survivors include his three children: Gwen Huskey, Larry Thompson and Nancy Thompson and grandson, Christopher Huskey.

Graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, April 9, 11:00 a.m., at Gatlin Cemetery, Fayetteville, TN with Higgins Funeral Home in charge.

Higgins Funeral Home is assisting the family.
