Terrie, Clair will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was certainly a great guy and added so much to LCHS.

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.

I was not in town over the weekend and was unable to attend the funeral, but I was thinking of you.

    Love

I was lucky enough to see him on 01/29/2013. He had question after question about me and my family and not the first complaint or negative comment! Amazing action from an amazing man. I’m a better man for having known him. I would like to thank the family for sharing him with me.

Clair was and remains a great inspiration to me. He always exemplified what I aspire to accomplish as a teacher and a human.
Terrie, we love you and we stand at the ready for anything you may need. Joyner and Wyatt, the same goes for you.

I don’t have words that are passionate enough, sublime enough, or that are capable of appropriately representing the sadness I feel for losing Clair. I know only this, that I take great joy in celebrating the life and the man I am so privileged to have known.

Mr. Telford had a big impact on me. I took German from him in 1982 & 1983. There are still phrases that he used in class that I say now from time to time. If it weren’t for him, I probably never would have gotten an opportunity to visit Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. He will be greatly missed and I am so very sorry for this beautiful family’s loss.

    Dear Terrie and Family:

My thoughts are with all of you. I only just heard the news from another classmate from Clarksville High School. Clair was one of the shining stars of theatre class. He had an unending sense of humor and was was often the master mind behind whatever schemes our group would come up with. I feel certain you all know this part of him.I shall remember him with a grin on my face. Bless all of you.
