Funeral service for Christabel Logan, age 88 of Lynchburg, will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Buddy Norman and Bro. Richard Logan officiating. Burial will follow in Booneville Cemetery beside her husband Fred D. Logan. Mrs. Logan passed away Tuesday at Harton Hospital.
A native of Lincoln County, Mrs. Logan was the daughter of the late John and Lillian Gattis Ingle. She worked in Gadsden, AL and Camp Forest in Tullahoma with the Civil Defense, in the bottling department of Jack Daniel Distillery and was a member of the County Line Church of Christ.
Survivors include sons John D. (Rose) Logan of Lynchburg and Dan (Deborah) Logan of Lynchburg, grandchildren Jeff (Autumn) Logan of Tullahoma, Chris (Shea) Logan of Lynchburg, Megan (Seth) Smith of Lynchburg, Amy (Brandon) Cashion of Lynchburg, Alison Logan of Lynchburg, great grandchildren Carter Logan, Carly Logan, Kinsley Logan, Laten Logan, Ty Smith, Lily Smith, JP Evans, Jack Evans, Blayne Cashion, Brayden Cashion, Logan Cashion and baby Belle Anne Smith, brother Charles (Linda) Ingle of Booneville, brother-in-law Paul Wagster of Columbia, a sister Faye Scarbrough of Shelbyville and dear friends Jean Anderson and Mrs. Mary. Mrs. Logan was preceded in death by a sister Frieda Wagster.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Camp Joy or the Moore County Library.
Visitation with the family will be Friday evening 5-8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
