Funeral services for Miss Abigail Marie Grimes, age 16, of Fayetteville, will be conducted at 10 AM Tuesday at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Benny Hipps and Rev. Lon Ostrzycki officiating.  Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery.  Miss Grimes passed away Saturday evening,

A daughter of Roger E. Grimes and April Smith Cantrell who survive, she was a native of Louisville, KY, a student at Lincoln County High School, and a member of Stewart’s Chapel Baptist Church.

Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her step-father Curtis Cantrell, sister Amber Grimes, brother Austin Grimes, step-brothers Cory and Cody Cantrell, grandmother Mildred Grimes of Louisville, KY, grandfather Michael Smith of St. Louis, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation with the family will be from 4-8 PM Monday evening at Higgins Funeral Home.

Memorial donations may be made in Miss Grimes’ memory at Redstone Federal Credit Union.
