Funeral services for Jeanette B. Torman, age 78 of Petersburg, will be conducted Monday afternoon at 1 pm at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. James Strope officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery. Mrs. Torman passed away Wednesday in Lincoln Medical Center.
A native of Jefferson County, AL she was the daughter of the late Win T. and Gertha Leslie Wilson. Mrs. Torman was a retired U. S. Navy veteran and a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband William H. Torman of Petersburg, daughter Ginny Lynn Torman of Maine, grandchildren Amanda (Matt) Kneeland Trout, Sean (Nicole) Pelletier, Jamie Pelletier, great-grandson Tucker Brown and nephew Norman Wilson.
Visitation with the family will be Monday from 11am-1pm at Higgins Funeral Home.
