It is with regret we announce the passing of Mr. Clyde Lindsey Hawkins, age 78 of Flintville, TN. Mr. Hawkins was born on April 3, 1941 in Franklin Co., TN to the late John and Mary Magdalene “Maggie” Yarbrough Hawkins. He passed away on November 2, 2019 at his residence.

Clyde worked in the Construction Industry building homes. He was a member of the Howell Hill Baptist Church and attended the Church of Jesus in Vanntown, TN.

Survivors include his brothers, Clifton Hawkins and Orville (Lorene) Hawkins; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Gene and Ruby Smith. In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by his brothers, Leroy Hawkins and Buster Hawkins; and sisters, Daisy Mae Kennedy and Florence Jarnigan.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at Cochran Cemetery in New Market, AL. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.
