Obituary

Funeral service for Mr. Cecil Dwayne Stubblefield, Sr., age 85, of Frankewing, TN, will be conducted at 10 AM on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at Higgins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wright’s Cemetery next to his wife, Eunice Louise Stubblefield. Bro. Don Hudson will officiate.

Cecil was born on January 3, 1934 in Giles County, TN to the late Walter Luther and Katherine Virginia Reeves Stubblefield. He worked as a tobacco farmer and was of the baptist faith. Mr. Stubblefield passed away on June 10, 2019.

Survivors include his daughters, Vickie Lynn (Dan) Hasty and Paula Elizabeth Mitchell (Jimmy Jones) all of Pulaski, TN; sons, Timothy Keith (Faye) Stubblefield and Noel Lee (Lisa) Stubblefield all of McBurg, TN; daughter-in-law, Shelia Stubblefield; brothers, Gary Stubblefield and Allen (Nora) Stubblefield; 13 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Cecil Dwayne Stubblefield, Jr, and sisters, Ann Funk and Carolyn Graham.

Visitation with the family will be held at 5 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Higgins Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, NAMI, 3803 N Fairfax Dr, Suite 100, Arlington, VA 22203 US. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mr. Cecil Dwayne Stubblefield, Sr.
