We’re Growing

Higgins Funeral Home has served Fayetteville and Lincoln County for four generations. Much has changed since January 1, 1903, when Hiram, Eugene, and Owen Higgins opened Higgins Brothers Furniture and Undertaking on the northwest corner of Fayetteville Square. But our family has been a constant presence for more than 118 years, caring for our community during difficult and emotional times.

Higgins Funeral Home commitment to providing personal, high-quality service has been passed down through the generations, first to Phillip Higgins, Hiram’s son, then to Charles Higgins, Clay’s father, who joined the family business in 1972. Clay returned to Fayetteville in 2001 to work at the funeral home. As Charles neared retirement, Clay took a more active role and now is fourth-generation owner, who proudly continues the Higgins family legacy of compassion and service.

If you are looking to join a team of compassionate, experienced staff, providing personal attention, grief support, and unparalleled service to Fayetteville and Lincoln County, then look no further. Check out our open position below.
