Funeral services for Jane Gunter, age 95 of Frankewing, will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Monty Franklin officiating. Burial will follow in Wrights Cemetery beside her husband Woodrow Gunter. Mrs. Gunter passed away Thursday evening at her residence.

A native of Lincoln County Mrs. Gunter was the daughter of the late James K. and Melvie Minatree Poston. She was a retired supervisor with Serbin Fashions and a member of the McBurg Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son Gary Gunter of McBurg, grandchildren Tricia Williams and husband Jack of Kelso, Christie Schnied of Fayetteville, Kevin Adams of McBurg and six great grandchildren.Mrs. Gunter was preceded in death by a daughter Karen Adams.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the McBurg Methodist Church.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday evening 5-8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
