Memorial service for Ashlea McPherson, age 23 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 4 PM at Park City Baptist Church with Rev. Lon Ostrzycki and Rev. Don Russell officiating. Miss McPherson passed away Wednesday night at her residence.
Miss McPherson was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church.
Survivors include her mother Kim Lasater and husband Tom of Fayetteville, father Scott McPherson and wife Candy of Tullahoma, two brothers Dusty McPherson and wife Kymber and Shane McPherson and wife Stephanie all of Fayetteville, step-brother Aaron Lasater of Fayetteville, NC grandmothers Loyce Weir of Fayetteville and Barbara McPherson of Kelso, grandparents Alton and Virginia McPherson of Harvey, IL step-grandparents Wendell and Mary Paul Lasater of Lewisburg, TN nieces Kayleigh McPherson, Heidi McPherson and nephew Carson McPherson. Ashlea was preceded in death by her grandfather Mr. Doyle Weir.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday from 4-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
Visitation Sunday will be from 3 PM until time for service.
In lieu of flowers a memorial for Ashlea McPherson has been established at Regions Bank in the name of Kimberly Lasater.
Higgins Funeral Home is assisting the family of Miss Ashlea McPherson.

Sweet Ashlea, I remember the sweet little baby girl i took care of in the hospital for so many nights. I remember the sweet young lady you grew into, and i am blessed to have known your strength and endurance. You are a true angel now, and i know you are at peace. Praying for God to comfort your family with the peace only He can give. No more boo boo head, you are a beautiful angel sweet baby girl.

KIM, WE WERE ALL SO VERY SAD TO HEAR OF ASHLEY’S PASSING. SHE WAS SUCH A BLESSING FROM GOD AND A TRUE INSPIRATION TO SO MANY PEOPLE. Kim, My heart aches for you at this time of so many mixed emotions. I know you have been through so much heartache
as you have watched your beautiful little girl suffer for years with the horrible disease that attacked her when she was so young and yet I know you will miss her terribly. Praying for all your needs and I know that God will continue to give you strength in the future just as he has been your sustaining force for so many years.
I am going to miss you my sweet Ashlea. You were such a joy to be around. You never got anything over on us. Always kept us on our toes and a lot of times you were our teacher!!!!!! You never missed a moment to let us know something. I will always remember your spunkiness and how much you loved everyone. I know you are running around on those streets of gold with your granddaddy. I hope you are having a blast. I know you will greet all of us from Highland Rim when we meet again.
