Obituary

Funeral services for James B. “Bud” Stevenson, age 88, of Fayetteville will be conducted Saturday at 12:00 PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Stan Stevenson officiating, Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Mr. Stevenson passed away Wednesday morning at his residence.

He was a native of Lincoln County and the son of the late James R. and Bessie Lou Williams Stevenson. Mr. Stevenson was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and was a retired mechanic and welder from Lockheed Aircraft.

Survivors include his wife Sara Hall Stevenson of Fayetteville, two daughters; Carolyn Carver of Fayetteville and Donna Blair and her husband Tom of Fayetteville, son; Richard Stevenson and wife Donna of Cartersville, GA, sisters; Louise Kellum of Lawrenceburg, TN, Janie Newman of Ardmore, TN, grandchildren; Shane Stevenson and wife Teresa, Slade Stevenson and wife Serena, Tom S. Blair and wife Amanda, great-grandchildren; Luke, Sam, Ben, Jessica, Andrew and Samson Stevenson.

Visitation with the family will be Friday evening 5-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
