Funeral services for Mr. David Allen Posey, age 27, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 1 PM Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Wayne McGee officiating. Burial will follow in Carter Hills Cemetery. Mr. Posey passed away Saturday afternoon at his residence.

A son of Robert L. and Brenda Louise Posey who survive, he was a native of Lincoln County, employed as a construction worker in Alabama, and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors, in addition to his parents, are his daughters Alaina Marie and Aubrey Nicole Posey, brothers Robert Posey, Jr. and Tyson Dewayne Posey, fiance Tanya Marie Mearse, grandmother Odelle Poteete, aunts and uncles Bobby and Faye Poteete, Joe and Robin Poteete, Linda and Steve Smith Ronnie and Rachel Spears, Joe and Debbie Posey. John Posey, Frankie Posey, and David and Kathy Posey and many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Elaine and Frank Posey and Joe Poteete and cousin Wade Allen Casey.

Visitation with the family will be from 5-8 PM Tuesday evening at Higgins Funeral Home.
