Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth Maddox Daves age 80 of Fayetteville will be conducted Wednesday at 10AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Gaskill and Rev Tim Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Unity Cemetery beside her husband Jack Daves who passed away in 2003. Mrs. Daves passed away Sunday February 28th  at Donaldson Care Center.

She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Thomas and Ada Mae Robertson Maddox, a retired bank teller for Union National Bank and a member of the Howell Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include three daughters Donna Dyer, Dianne Daves and Debra Jenkins all of Fayetteville, four grandchildren Keri Dyer, Jamie Wolfe, John M. Dyer and Lainie Jenkins and three great grandchildren Alex Dyer, Savanna Brown and Ava Freeman. Mrs. Daves was preceded in death by her husband Jack Daves and son Jack Daves Jr.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 4-7 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
