Funeral services for Mrs. Mardell Hopkins Steelman of Nashville, formerly of Fayetteville, will be conducted at 1:00pm Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Langford officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Steelman passed away November 30 at Baptist Hospital.

She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late John Elgie (Boss) and Nellie Jane Childress Hopkins. Mrs. Steelman was retired from Genesco Shoe and was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter Mary Steelman of Nashville and two grandsons Jerry Don Steelman Jr and Darrell Wayne Steelman both of Clarksville, TN. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Jerry Don Steelman, Sr, two brothers Robert Elgie Hopkins and Gordon Daniel Hopkins, two sisters Opal Lee Wright and Ruby Elise Smith.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 11AM until 1PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
