A graveside service for James Rudolph Price, III, age 73, of Fayetteville, TN will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Maple Hill Cemetery. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.

J.R. Price was born in Huntsville, Alabama, on October 6, 1952, to the late James Rudolph Price, II and Maggie Eloise Price. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southwestern State University and went on to serve as a banking regulator for the Georgia Department of Banking and Finance. Mr. Price was a man of the Methodist faith and a devoted Alabama fan. J.R. passed away on July 17, 2026, at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro.

Survivors include his sons, Jonathan (Deidra) Price, and Joshua Price; grandchildren, Daina, Atticus, Evangline, Kate and Juliete Price; brother, Shelby (Karen) Price; and a sister, Mary Walker.
