Aaron Lassiter Bowers born June 5, 1982, died suddenly on May 18, 2026, just shy of his 44th birthday after complications from a surgical procedure.
Not only was Aaron large in stature, but also personality! He was kind-hearted to his core, quick witted, and always ready to help a stranger. He had a deep appreciation for nature, and nothing made him happier than roaming and hunting the beautiful land of Tennessee. His loss will leave an enormous hole in the lives of all who loved him.
Aaron leaves behind his wife of 9 years, Jenny Bowers; parents, Jimi and Pat Bowers; sister, Megan Weems (James); Aunt Linda Lee Wilson (Dane); Uncle Mark Wilson (Cynthia); Aunt Sonia St. Charles (Paul); Aunt Mary Beth Wilson; cousins, Natalie McMillen, Rob Wilson, and Wil St. Charles; in-laws, Mike and Tricia Gray; sister-in-law, Kelly Gearheart; and brother-in-law, Jeffrey Gray (Kayli). In addition, he leaves behind his lifelong best friend and chosen brother, Murray Stubblefield, as well as one of his great dog loves, Libby. Aaron was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry and Miriam Wilson, and Helen Bowers.
The family would like to take this opportunity to encourage others to practice empathy, love, and kindness towards others in honor of Aaron, who was truly as tenderhearted and loving as a person could be. Carrying that sentiment forward is the best gift for honoring his memory.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 2 PM to 5 PM at 1444 Old Lake Road, Lewisburg, TN. Please come casual with stories about Aaron.
We at Higgins Funeral Home are privileged to offer comfort, care, and support to the family of Aaron Lassiter Bowers.
