In Loving Memory of Our Sweet Boy
On November 7th, 2025, our beloved son passed away at nine and a half years old, leaving behind a legacy of joy, resilience, and unconditional love. Diagnosed with Rett syndrome at the age of 3, we were told he might not live past 2—but in true form, he proved every prediction wrong. He lived a life far bigger than the limits placed on him, filling our world with laughter and light.
He adored laughter—his own and everyone else’s. His smile could brighten even the darkest moments, and his infectious belly laughs were a gift to all who heard them. He loved food, cherished every moment spent watching Bluey, and thrived on attention and affection. Though he could not speak, he had impeccable comedic timing, expressing humor and personality in ways that touched everyone around him.
He spent much of his life in a wheelchair, but his spirit was never confined. He made friends everywhere he went, drawing people in with his expressive eyes, his warmth, and the purity of his joy. He taught us compassion, patience, and the beauty of celebrating life’s smallest moments.
He was, and will always be, our brave, funny, joyful boy—a child who lived fully, loved deeply, and left an unforgettable mark on every life he touched.
We will forever carry his laughter, his courage, and his light in our hearts.
Private family services will be held at a later date. A memorial fund has been set up at Redstone Federal Credit Union in memory of our sweet boy, Gage.
Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Gage Michael Giglio.
