Obituary

A Celebration to Honor the life of Mary Amanda Endsley, age 37, of Fayetteville, TN will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at the Fayetteville-Lincoln County Arts Center. There will be a time of visitation from 2 PM until 3 PM. At 3 PM a Celebration of life will begin by those that wish to speak to share Amanda and her legacy.  A time for gathering together enjoying one another for her and in her memory.  A time to bring out the laughter, joy, and energy she brought to life. Amanda would say dress casual, colorful, and happy.  She would say come to have a good time.

Mary Amanda Endsley was born on July 2, 1988.  She was a daughter, a sister, a mother, a friend, and a nurse.  Her entire life professionally and personally was dedicated to caring for others.  On August 20th our Father in Heaven, in his mercy, decided that she had given all of the care that was required of her, and he brought her guided into the rest that she had earned.  The name Amanda means “worthy of love,” and love is never felt so strongly as when its lost.  We take comfort in the memories of her life and in the love that she had for each of us.  Every day we will remember her as we strive to remain worthy of the love shown to us by our daughter, mother and sister.

“Blessed are the pure of heart; for they shall see God.”

Amanda graduated Motlow College with an Associate Degree in 2007 a few weeks before graduating Lincoln County High School, University of Tennessee Knoxville 2011, Motlow College Nursing Degree 2013, and received her Masters in Nursing 2013 from University of Alabama in Huntsville.  She was a Nurse Practitioner at Highpoint Family Wellness.

Amanda loved.  She loved her children.  She loved family and friends.  She loved her co-workers and patients.  She loved to meet new people.  She loved her pets.  She loved all animals. She loved learning, music of all eras, and cooking with her son. She loved a debate.  She loved embracing and exploding all the energies that life gave her.  She wrapped herself and those she loved with her spirit that lived within and emanated from her.

She is survived by her cherished sons Houston Geoge and Wyndal Spangler. Her parents Ritchie & Cindy Lewis and Michael & Tracy Endsley.  By her brother Ben (Marie) Endsley. By her bonus siblings Barrett Lewis and Rielly (Tommy) Lewis.  By her special love Lyle Corder and his children Coy and Josey. By her niece, Kiera Endsley.  Her nephews Kain (Angel) Endsley, Logan Endsley, Jake Endsley, and Gabe Endsley. By her Aunts Anna Bradley (Dwight), Billie Jo Kennedy, Kathy Endsley, Freddie (Ricky) Knowles, Joan (Jerry) Warren, Tina (Dale) Rogers, Lagatha (Rick) Schmehl, Lisa (Kevin) Brown. Her Uncle Tommy Wright.  Her bonus nieces, Annie, Celee and Jocelyn.  Her bonus nephews, Tuffy, Lake and Abram.  First cousins Ann-Heather, Rush, Elly, Grad, Will, Jason, Tara, Heather, Josey, Shanna, Tyler, Austin, Sarah, Ashley, Meghan, Brittany and Morgan. Amanda was blessed with a large cherished extended family and relatives.

To honor her legacy of caring, memorial donations may be made to the Humane Society of Lincoln County, PO Box 37, Fayetteville, TN 37334.

Amanda has been our PCM for the past two years. She was an incredible NP, and her caring and empathy for her patients was apparent in all she did. Amanda will be greatly missed in our community by so many. I am deeply saddened by this tragedy, and for her family. Special blessings for her boys who meant so much to her, and lost their beautiful mother way too soon. Praying that the Lord will bless and comfort the family at this time. Fly high sweet girl! You are surely with the Angels now!

I only met Amanda about a year ago at her office. She was the kindest most knowledgeable PCP that I had found since moving to Winchester. I liked her so much that I recommended her to everyone. I am heartbroken for her family and for this community. She will be dearly missed!!

Amanda has been my wonder woman since September 29th 2014. She was the nurse when I delivered my son. She went above and beyond for me that day and half. I never missed a chance to tell her how much she meant to me. I’m deeply saddened for her boys. She loved them fiercely. Such a bright light gone too soon.

My sweet girl, this has been hard to except and it still doesn’t seem real. You are loved by so many. My pain in my heart is not alone it is shared with so many. I am praying for your sweet Houston and Wyndal, your Mom and for Lyle, Coy and Josie. Your love outshines anyone I have ever known. My heart is very dim right now without you. I will relight the light when I can except that you are truly gone. I love you so very much and I miss you terribly. You will be apart of me for as long as God lets me live. This loss is like losing one of our own children. You truly were a part of our family. I will miss you sweetheart and I’m so grateful you have been apart of our lives. I love you so much and I miss you sweet girl. I miss your smile, your laugh, your love and thank you for never judging me!! You saved me so many times from total darkness. I’m so thankful I hugged you one more time on Sunday and told you I loved you. Because I do and you knew!!!

My sophomore year of HS I was in Jazz Band with Amanda. I played guitar so I was over beside her on stage. I still remember how intimidated I was of her. 😉 She was extremely pretty, and wise beyond her years, not to mention playing music just came so easy to her. I got over my fear eventually and we became friends. She was the 1st drummer I ever played in a band with that was close to my age. She taught me a lot, and was very kind to me. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing. I pray peace over her family, during this impossible time.

Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for Amanda’s family, and especially her children, who she loved so much. The kindness and compassion she had for her patients was unmatched. She spent time with people, focusing on not only their physical health, but their mental wellbeing and quality of life. She set the bar very high for what a healthcare provider should be. She brought light into the lives of so many people, myself included. My sincerest condolences to her family and friends.
